Frequently Asked Questions

DeiRa Hotel & Apartments is a self-check-in and reception-less Hotel. There is a 24hr contact number for any queries during your stay. You will find this number in the welcome book in your room and also during the messages which will be sent on the day of arrival.

Access to the Hotel Rooms between 2pm and 10pm is via the on-site Restaurant. Access to the Hotel Rooms after hours between 10pm & 8am & 11am-1.30pm is via the night entrance to the side of the building.

On a Monday the restaurant will be closed therefore access to the hotel rooms will be via the night entrance on the side of the building.

On the day of check-in, you will receive your personalised Hotel Room Pin Code along with video instructions to help you along the way. The Pin code will operate your room door as well as the night entrance. For the Apartment check-in, you will be receive the lock box Pin to access the key along with directions and parking information.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in is from 2pm. Check out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Breakfast is served between 7am – 9.30am – Monday to Friday 8am – 10am – Saturday and Sunday.

Breakfast will be served in our on-site ground-floor restaurant.

Can I leave my luggage?

Yes, we have luggage storage on the ground floor accessible from 9am.

Do you have parking? Is it free?

Our Apartments come with free private parking.

Free street parking on neighbouring streets or 24hour parking at Bellevue Road Car Park is available for those staying in the Hotel.

What facilities does the hotel have?

The Hotel has an award-winning Indian restaurant onsite, Taj Bar & Kitchen.

How do I get to the hotel?

We are located on Prestwick Main Street, with direct Bus and Train links from Glasgow City Centre.

Prestwick Train Station is a 3min taxi journey or an 8 min walk.

Glasgow Airport is 50min drive by car. For trains, there is a bus links that will take you to Paisley. Gilmour Street Train Station from Glasgow Airport and from there a direct train to Prestwick Town Station in around 40 mins.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport is 4min journey by taxi or car or a 20min walk.

I need to cancel, what are the refund terms?

If you need to cancel please notify by 2pm two days prior to check in and we will cancel free of charge. Cancellations after this time your booking will be charged.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are not permitted in the hotel rooms. However, we do allow pets in the apartment and are charged at £50 to cover additional cleaning costs.

Do I need my confirmation at check-in?

You do not need your confirmation at check-in. You will be sent a request 3 days prior to arrival to complete your online check-in and on the day of arrival you will be sent full check in instructions.

Will DeiRa Hotel & Apartments ever ask me for my credit card details by email?

We will advise what information we require and offer a call back to provide the information. We would not ask you to disclose the information over email.

Can I check in early or check out late?

We can note a request for an early check in and we will try our best however these cannot be guaranteed.

Late checkout can be requested and we will confirm on arrival what we can offer.

How do I order breakfast?

As we are a small boutique hotel, breakfast is available upon request. You will be asked to place your breakfast order before 9pm the night before. Pre-order cards can be found in the room.

Are the Hotel Rooms and Apartments easily accessible?

Our Hotel Rooms and the Superior first-floor Apartment are accessed by a flight of stairs. There is no lift.

Please bear this in mind for heavy or large luggage.
Our Deluxe ground-floor Apartment is easily accessible, roadside.

Can we get an extra bed or cot in our room?

Cots can be requested for any of our rooms. Extra beds can be put in some of our larger rooms. Please contact us directly to request this. There is an additional charge for extra beds.

Which rooms are accessible and how can I book them?

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer accessible rooms.

What happens if I don’t arrive?

If you do not arrive for your booking your card used to guarantee the booking will be charged for your booked stay as per our terms and conditions.

Can I change the date of my booking?

If you need to change your booking please notify us by 2pm two days prior to the check in and we will check availability and costs of the change. Changes after this time will be charged.

I have a gift card/Itson Voucher, how do I make a booking?

We request that all voucher bookings to be made via email to reservations@deirahotel.com.
